ANNOUNCING A NEW SERVICE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES AND CORPORATIONS - TEAM BUILDING

A NEW APPROACH TO TEAM-BUILDING

Marybeth has teamed up with Chef Ted Kanterman and they now offer team building programs for your group. We come to your location, bring all of the food and equipment and provide a very effective and stimulating experience for teams large and small.

Our hand’s-on classes focus on a team approach to creating a meal from scratch. This is a new and effective way to build or strengthen teams within your company.

This cutting edge training approach, which is becoming sought after across the country, brings groups in from the "woods" and back from the "moon" exercises, right into the kitchen. Participants learn about group dynamics and how cooking can be fun in a realistic way.

It is always difficult to take a day away from the office, and to also have an opportunity to work with individuals who are outside your immediate team. How very nice to be able to do both at this off site meeting and "Iron Chef" team competition. Having a bit of good luck with the weather made it all the more enjoyable.

The smiles on the photos (both yours and ours) reflect both the challenge of the team cooking experience and the fun we had while creating and displaying the results. The food was delicious! With you and Marybeth sharing tips on cooking (i.e. cutting julienne strips) and providing a most tasteful menu - everyone became 'chef for a day', including our resident expert on wines.

Our thanks to both you and Marybeth for putting together this opportunity. We learned that many of us have hidden talents -- from creating a bird out of Jicama to the best way to cook and marinate chicken and julienne vegetables.

Kind regards and much success to you both.

Real-Life Benefits

The benefits of COOKING AND TEAM BUILDING are primarily team building, and in addition, participants work and play together and learn the pluses of friendly competition. Their skills in resource management and negotiation are put to the test. The team becomes much more aware of group dynamics, the benefits of cooperation, and the need to improve communication skills.

As a ‘side’ benefit, your team also has fun in a workplace setting, learns creativity and innovation, and has a delicious meal and a real sense of accomplishment, as a reward.
